Job Description

Summary

The scheduler is responsible for the development of schedules for refueling and forced outages.  Prepares and analyzes daily work schedules to optimize equipment available and manpower usage.  This position also updates and publishes daily work schedules and monitors progress during outages.

Essential Responsibilities

Develop logic driven, resource leveled outage schedules based on plant and procedures knowledge with input from various departments.
Participate and lead planning meetings in planning, scheduling and executing outage activities and projects.
Ensure outage schedule is designed to ensure compliance with safe shutdown requirements.
Obtain reports from SAP and Primavera P6 to track outage scope, planning progress and emergent activities. 
Perform critical path analysis during schedule development and execution.
Participate in outage scope meetings.
Updates schedules during outages with progress and emergent activities.
Monitors progress of forced outage and refueling outage readiness and milestone adherence.

Required

Operations experience is preferred.
A minimum of 5 years nuclear power plant experience required in maintenance, I&C, operations, engineering or related technical area.
Previous scheduling experience with Primavera P6 experience required.
High-school diploma or general education degree required.
Up to two years of formal post-high school specialized trade school, technical school, or college preferred.
