Job Duties:

ADP Technology Services, Inc. seeks a Design Engineer II at our Louisville, KY location. Responsibilities: Design system software and obtain information on system software project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces. Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Design, implement and drive the adoption of containers and cloud solutions. Collaboratively work with other development teams to improve the lifecycle of services, the quality of code, create robust deployment and release processes.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field plus five (5) years of related experience. Employer will accept a master’s degree plus two (2) years of experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of experience. Employer will accept a single degree or any combination of degrees, diplomas or professional experience determined to be equivalent by a qualified evaluation service.

Work Experience:

Two (2) years of experience must include: Java; J2EE; JMS; SOA; OOAD; OOP; Websphere Application Server; Server-side application frameworks, including JSP, Servlet and Spring; Restful and SOAP-based web services, including JSON and XML; Unit testing frameworks, including JUnit and Jest; SQL Data Store – Oracle; Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, Wily, or Splunk; and AWS.
