We currently have an opening for a Software Engineer in the Process Control Division, located at the Mon Valley Works – Edgar Thomson Facility in Braddock, PA. As an integral part of this highly skilled, innovative team, you will play a significant role in supporting our digital transformation and system modernization strategy while providing critical services to our production operations. The successful candidate will be part of a team responsible for the design, development, testing and implementation of digital solutions and process control systems.

Responsibilities:
• Contribute to and support our digital transformation
• Contribute to our digital transformation by participating in the design, development, configuration, and deployment of digital solutions
• Participate in, and / or lead high impact projects that provide financial benefits and result in improvements to safety, quality, and / or production yield
• Work closely with the operations teams to understand requirements and identify improvement opportunities; translate into project specifications, including work estimates and forecasted benefits
• Design and maintain highly available and error resistant applications and systems that support Edgar Thomson Operations
• Play a key role in the new design and maintenance of modern supervisory systems
Associates Degree with 5 year experience or Bachelor's with 1-2 years experience in the following degrees in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering, or related field.
Effective oral and verbal communication, team player
