Securities Services Business Overview:

Income processing covers all corporate action income events for US domestic and international assets including fixed income, variable rate, equities and mortgage-backed securities. This requires an emphasis on DTCC for the domestic activity and an exposure to Euroclear, Clearstream and local market income events via usage of Swift for the international activity.

The candidate will play an integral role in the ongoing growth of the securities services business line in the US and serve in a support role for internal and external clients, regulators and auditors, exchanges and clearing houses along with third party vendors

Responsibilities will include:

Serve as a senior member of the Asset Services Department reporting to the Manager of Corporate Actions/Income.
Responsible for the accurate interpretation and processing of all income events in the US and international markets
Adherence to all US regulations as related to the services offered, along with adherence to internal bank and business line procedures and policies
Adherence to internal controls to eliminate risk and operational losses
Deliver high quality of service to ever-demanding clients
Support and complete projects and initiatives as assigned

Minimum required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Economics or Accounting or related field
Superior analytical and problem solving skills
Demonstrate a calm, logical approach to all situations
Ability to multitask and to work under pressure, prioritizing duties according to risk
Ability to interact with very demanding stakeholders, managing their expectations whilst developing strong working relationships and bank standards
Effective verbal and written communication skills; notably the ability to clearly articulate issues and influence resolution
Self-motivated, energetic, and intellectually curious individual who is able to deliver with minimal supervision, whilst also working effectively as part of a team
Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree considered a plus
Minimum 3-5 years financial industry experience with an emphasis on local and global corporate actions processing
Language skills in French and Spanish is considered a plus 
Proven ability to demonstrate leadership qualities and to have a positive impact on the work team  
Familiarity with all US securities products and with both US and International corporate action  practices
Corporate action accounting and SWIFT knowledge required
Related knowledge of asset set-up, settlements, mutual funds, cash processing, tax issues and reconciliations
Extremely detail orientated
Proven ability to handle multiple priorities while respecting tight deadlines
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
Displays a keen sense of ownership, responsibility and accountability
Solid analytical and problem solving skills
Proactive, motivated and willing to absorb new concepts
