Job Description

Using independent judgment and discretion, the Recruiter II will drive the full-lifecycle recruitment and onboarding activities for a defined area.  Such activities include leading hiring manager discussions for openings, leveraging creative sourcing methods, screening candidates using behavioral based techniques, obtaining salary quotes, extending offers, generating offer letters, completing all required pre-employment checks, and ensuring compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements.

Builds relationships with hiring managers and leads the execution and implementation of Talent Acquisition activities. Develops compelling job posting descriptions to attract talent and strives to differentiate Baptist from our competitors by living up to our faith-based values.  

Assists with the identification and implementation of creative, out of the box sourcing strategies to attract the qualified talent. Screens talent for minimum qualifications and presents a slate of qualified candidates for Hiring Managers to review.  Follows up and follows through on all submitted candidates in a timely manner and ensures that the Applicant Tracking System (Workday) is kept up to date in real time and ensures compliance with all Federal, State and Regulatory requirements.

Extends offers to candidates and leverages knowledge about the competitive landscape and Baptist’s benefits package to help close candidates.  Upon acceptance, the Recruiter will initiate the offer letter, background check and other pre-employment processes and guide the candidate through the process.

Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Directly related work experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

4-7 Years of direct Recruitment experience either in a Corporate or Staffing Agency setting.

Nurse Recruitment experience is highly desired.
