Responsibilities
As a Business?Development Consultant, you’ll implement and execute advisor marketing programs, and support business center marketing programs and local branding activities.
Here are few examples of the types of things you’ll have an opportunity to do:
Partner with leadership team and Regional Marketing Strategist to develop and implement marketing campaigns into target markets, associations, and community groups.
Meet timing and quality expectations for execution of business center marketing and branding initiatives
Identify local industry and/or chamber associations for market development
Coordinate local event planning in support of the culture
Develop and proactively manage social media calendar and leverage Principal social media online content
Create strategy to track and analyze metrics, develop best practices to drive traffic and increase engagement with Principal and financial professional content on social media platforms
Design, produce and distribute a Business Center monthly or quarterly newsletter that is professional and error free
Coordination of webinars, social events and recruiting meetings to support business center initiatives and goals.
Prepare reports that track marketing activity of financial professional and Business Center campaigns
Partner with leadership team on tracking of marketing budget
Be a change advocate by positively partnering with team members in culture building initiatives
Drive increased community involvement and sponsorships

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent plus at least 4 years of related experience (e.g., financial services marketing or sales support experience strongly preferred).
College degree or marketing background preferred.
Strong business sense and ability to understand and apply marketing strategies and systems required.
Requires strong written and verbal communication, organizational and relationship building skills.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to prioritize assignments, adapt to changing priorities and ability to work under pressure.
