PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES
IT Lead for everything related to BPC – Consolidation, Planning, Forecasting, Admin, Reporting (EPM and BW) and Data reconciliation
Provide support for Existing BPC Consolidation and Planning solutions along with Financial close tasks and process working with the peers from Business and provide suggestions to make it more efficient if there are any gaps
Fill in as BPC Admin supporting Business team, doing Data Loads, MD updates, Top Side Entries, Data Review and validation in BPC with source system data (BW and ECC)
Ownership and Accountability for Consolidations and Planning (SAP BPC) and EPM Reporting supporting internal and external user groups
Provide support to Business during the Planning cycle with data uploads, troubleshooting in BPC, BW and/or ECC and other tasks related to Planning process, where needed
Input on prioritizing enhancements across BPC and BW Reporting, working closely with the business and IT teams
Should be proficient as an SAP FI Functional person to be able to access ECC transactions and reports to support Corp FI team with BPC processes and reporting needs
Develop and/or Update existing reports in BPC and SAP BW (Queries and BOBJ).
Review reconciliations and correct if necessary, differences between source systems (2 SAP ECC systems) and SAP Business Warehouse
Review reconciliations and correct if necessary, differences between SAP Business Warehouse and BPC cubes
Preparation, coordination and engagement with IT and Business Users / Groups at the appropriate level
Planning and coordination of testing for SAP BPC, BOBJ and BW Reporting business scenarios
Participation and execution of testing for SAP BPC, BOBJ and BW Reporting business scenarios
Work in conjunction with business peers and IT teams to ensure successful project (enhancement) delivery
Coordinates business meetings with business peers, IT business analysts and other stakeholders to gather and understand business / system requirements for SAP BPC, BOBJ and BW Reporting
Defines and understands business problems/challenges. Analyzes and recommends options for improvements and fixes
Assists team in identifying project (enhancement) risks, managing requirement changes, determining time estimates and milestone
Responsible for business process analysis, end user coordination, and support; working alongside BW/BPC team and business analysts
Develop and/or Update Training Material /documentation, especially for BPC User training and to Provide training to Internal User groups as and when needed
Work within established procedures and processes for reporting / consolidations and planning initiatives - Support, projects and enhancements
Assist with development and/or update of documentation (project charter, requirements, functional specifications, process documents, training materials) for internal customer engagements
Work with the Application Security team to help define (if new) and test existing security controls for BPC and BW Reporting
Provide support to other activities and initiatives deemed necessary to support the Business and IT organization
Act as the BPC / BOBJ / BW Reporting IT Representative for the business teams
Develop and maintain SAP BW and BOBJ application components (Process chains, Info Providers, DSO, Transformations, Queries, etc. and other Data Modelling tasks) to support the business’ reporting needs
Create and maintain the SAP BPC application components (application sets, dimensions, reports, script logic, etc.) to support management reporting for financial consolidation
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum B.S. in relevant education. M.S. or M.B.A. or CPA would be a plus
Minimum 5 plus years related professional experience in Finance required
Minimum 7 years of experience with SAP systems is required (BPC, BW and ECC)
Minimum 7 years related professional experience working with SAP BPC solutions, with Proficiency to be able to support existing 10.1 functionality
Analysis for Office (AO) knowledge is a plus
Should possess good interpersonal and communication skills to work with Business Users at all levels and be able to articulate the issues/problems and the proposed solution in a meaningful way
Self-reliant individual with demonstrated ability to quickly add value to an organization
Ability to analyze and design business processes

Ability to institute best practices in various aspects of day-to-day work
