Job Description

Job Summary: Coordinates the set-up of new accounts, insuring accuracy and quick turnaround time on new accounts and client updates.

Job Duties: 
• Sets up new accounts
• Performs quality assurance checks on set-ups and account additions completed by other team members
• Performs policy, background, and location additions to existing client accounts
• Monitors incoming emails for information pertaining to new accounts, policy, and location additions
• Contacts clients directly to verify set-up information or to obtain missing documentation
• Strives to maintain turn-around levels to less than one day
• Assists the Account Set-up lead with complex set-ups  
• Provides exceptional customer service during any contact with clients
• Completes all responsibilities in a timely manner

• Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.  Employee must occasionally lift to twenty - five (25) pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
 
• Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
Performance standards:
• Annual performance appraisal for manager/supervisor level
• Attainment of annual goals established between supervisor and incumbent

Average % of time split among daily duties
Responsibility
 
50%
Sets up new accounts
Performs quality assurance checks on set-ups and account additions completed by other team members
Performs policy, background, and location additions to existing client accounts
Monitors incoming emails for information pertaining to new accounts, policy, and location additions
 
10% Contacts clients directly to verify set-up information or to obtain missing documentation
 
25% Strives to maintain turn-around levels to less than one day
 
15% Provides exceptional customer service during any contact with clients
Essential Requirements:
• DISAWorks® system experience
• Previous DER (Designated Employee Representative) experience 
 
Required Education:
• BA/BS degree or three (3) to five (5) years of related experience in a high-volume department
• Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communicative and customer service skills
Preferred Education: same as required
