Responsibilities:
Provides product expertise in Building Technologies Disciplines:
Automation products and 3rd party systems to Zone staff. Delivers training and technical support for field technicians and specialists. Provides on-site technical troubleshooting for resolution of customer issues.
Supports all BT personnel, in the offices in the assigned Zone.
Provides Manager a monthly report of all activities performed (Sales support, Technical and Application support, training, mentoring, etc. .).
Performs product demonstrations.
Maintains technical expertise on all products, tools, and gateways through continuing education initiatives
Stays current with BT product documentation. and communicates updates to field technicians and specialists
Works with other Network Integration Specialist to develop and share technical solutions.
Leverage remote connectivity to improve rapid problem solving with technicians and customers
Troubleshoots network, software, and/or hosted system malfunctions.
Diagnoses and resolves technical problems on jobs and provides appropriate reports to management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or state-recognized GED; Associate degree preferred
Experience programming HVAC systems and developing HVAC controls strategies; 4+ years preferred
Proven electro-mechanical aptitude (based on previous experience and/or education) and user PC/software skills
Ability to read and understand design and construction documents
Ability to work in a team environment providing dedicated support to our customers
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
