Job Description

Job Duties: 

The Production Supervisor will oversee the operations of the area to ensure optimum efficiency is being achieved in the assembly area while developing and maintaining projects to increase productivity using lean concepts. 

Direct and manage assembly area manufacturing activities to achieve plant objectives and provide exceptional customer experience
Drive internal performance to meet and exceed established goals for Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost
Identify continuous improvement opportunities and provide leadership
Schedule daily work activities and drive adherence to schedule
Perform audits and provide necessary training to ensure safe performance by all employees
Assures compliance is consistent with OSHA, ISO, and other regulatory agencies
Enforce company General Manufacturing Practices and procedures to ensure all employees in their area are following guidelines and are regularly being trained as per company requirements
Provides a motivational team environment
Work on projects as assigned, such as improving productivity, developing training programs for new hires

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business-related field and 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role in a production environment
Good Mechanical aptitude, inclination, experience, and interest
Machining knowledge and electro/mechanical knowledge is a plus
Demonstrated Lean experience
Strong problem-solving skills along with excellent written and oral communication skills
