The Role:
We are transforming technology and creating a digital evolution that will empower Centene to better serve our members. Lead System Engineer (Endpoint) will lead various sized technical projects focused on initiatives that are designed to enhance the IT experience of our internal employees Windows Endpoint, IT Support Platforms, and Productivity Software solutions.

As Lead System Engineer (Endpoint): 

•    Lead cross functional teams through system processes.
•    Act as primary engineer supporting the implementation and management of our Digital Employee Experience Management tool that includes infrastructure, platform, and PowerShell scripting responsibilities.
•    Act as a resource for identifying and resolving complex problems that could improve and enhance the end user IT experience through data analysis of various systems monitoring the environment.
•    Partner with technology teams across the IT organization to drive resolution to identified problems in the environment.
•    Mentor & lead a group of engineers focused on technical and career development, including performance reviews.
•    Create and present technical focused presentations to IT leadership and key business partners.
•    Engage and manage ongoing relationship with vendor support teams to drive value and results from contracted resources.
•    Partner with End User Experience IT Program Manager Team to provide technical oversight, guidance, and support to various projects focused on improving the user experience across the organization.
•    Interface with business users and stakeholders to determine needs.
•    Responsible for evaluation, design, and integration of all enhancements or new releases of the system.
•    Identify and implement process/procedural improvements.

Additionally you will bring:

•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience. 
•    5+ years of related experience.
•    Detailed understanding of Windows OS and endpoint platforms, including configuration management (Physical & Virtual).
•    Experience and knowledge of Windows PowerShell commands and scripting 
•    Advanced knowledge of core IT infrastructure systems and troubleshooting methodologies.

Preferred Skills:
•    Experience with Digital Employee Experience Management Software (Nexthink or similar solution).
•    Enterprise IT solution design and implementation process experience (Service Design, Security Review, Vendor Management, etc.)
•    Organizational Change Management experience (POC, Pilot, & Release).
