Job Description
The XSE (Xe Silicon Engineering) Division, within the AXG (Accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics Group ) Supergroup, is responsible for design and development of Graphics, Media and Display IPs as well as discrete Graphics SoCs (GPUs), targeting both Client Device and Datacenter markets. The GTCHE organization is at the center of Intel's push into the discrete Graphics SoCs market segment targeting next-generation applications such as High-performance Exascale computing, Deep learning / training, Cloud Graphics, Media analytics, High-end gaming, etc.
We are looking for a Pre-Silicon Verification Engineer to join our team. In this position you will be part of a world-class silicon design organization working with a team of highly talented engineers working on cutting-edge IP/SoC architectures, advanced silicon design and process technologies, with tremendously exciting opportunities for industry-leading engineering innovations.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Work with Pre-Silicon Verification, Architecture and Design teams to come up with a test plan covering details on test environments, checker and coverage strategies, and test generators
Develop/adjust various workloads to stress test SoC fabric on the SoC emulation platform
Develop debugging tools, methodology and software to participate in the debug of failures on emulation/silicon platforms, find the root causes and report bugs to respective teams
Develop tools and methods to streamline various trackers/checkers to make debugging easier at SoC level
Communicate effectively, coordinate and work with IP Design and SoC integration teams
Mentor junior members and contractors

Qualifications
Minimum skills and experience required to get you noticed:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related fields with 5 + years of relevant industry experience. Or a Master’s in the same fields with 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
Your experience should be in the following:
IP/SoC Verification/Validation(Verification environment, Test writing, Debugging etc )
SoC Architecture and serial bus protocols(I3C/SPI/USB/PCIe)
Programming with SystemVerilog and OVM/UVM based verification methodologies
Preferred skills and experience that will make you stand:
C/C++ programming skills and experienced in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
Experience with one or more of the following: I/O interconnect, memory controllers or CPU architecture
Experience taking into consideration design modifications that may impact performance, power or cost optimization
Experience performing Formal verification and assertions using tools like Jasper
Develop debugging tools, methodology and software to participate in the debug of failures on emulation/silicon platforms, find the root causes and report bugs to respective teams
Emulation(Zebu) experience
