Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity to join a Supply Chain Contracting team in Tukwila, WA as an Experienced Procurement Agent and join us on a journey that navigates one of the most complex supply chains in the world.
This team procures goods and services in support of all Boeing Defense Programs and offers a unique opportunity to support and enable operations across many areas of the Boeing Company. The procurement agent will execute and manage contracts for a variety of products and services that range in value and complexity. The ideal candidate possesses operational and financial business acumen, adaptability, effective communication skills, problem solving skills, conflict management skills, and initiative.
Position Responsibilities:
Provides oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
Leads negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions.
Prepares and executes negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements.
Interprets and enforces contract terms and conditions.
Consults with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues.
Leads supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities.
Participates on supply chain process improvement teams and identifies improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.

This position is for 1st shift.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
More than 5 years of experience in Supplier Management or Supply Chain Management.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Passion for Aerospace Products and Services.
More than 5 years of experience negotiating non-competitive, government procurement that exceed the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) threshold.
More than 5 years of experience working with multiple contracts types- FFP, CPFF, T&M.
More than 5 years of experience with an MRP system and how it applies to production control and the purchasing process.
More than 5 years of experience in government related procurement with adherence to FAR/DFAR.
Experience with BDS Commons Systems Tools Suite.
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.)
