Job Description
What you'll do:
Participate as a key team member on audit projects to document processes under review through creating process flow charts and narratives
Partner with colleagues and stakeholders to test, assess and report on the adequacy and effectiveness of management controls
Performs Sarbanes-Oxley (“SOX”) testing including process walkthroughs and re-performance of key controls to ensure that controls are properly designed and operating effectively
Finalize and communicate audit findings to management, identify opportunities for improvement, and use judgment to provide an overall opinion on the control environment
Build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, business management, other control groups while maintaining independence
Implement and execute an effective program of continuous monitoring for assigned areas, including monitoring of key metrics to identify control issues and adverse trends
Stay up to date with evolving industry and regulatory changes impacting the business
Perform root-cause analysis on identified control gaps
Validate those actions taken by management to address findings are appropriate and document the results
Ensure that audit work conforms to Global Audit policies and procedures.
Who you are:
Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Accounting or Finance; Professional designation (CIA, CPA) preferred.
Strong investigative, quantitative and data analytic skills preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of Internal Audit experience in a public accounting or consulting practice, and/or a fast-growing company. Crypto enthusiast a plus!
Experience auditing SOX key controls a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner.
Strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and projects, and to multi-task and operate under deadlines.
