This Role in Summary:
We are seeking qualified candidates for a Senior Sourcing Specialist, Licensing Sourcing opening to join our Global Strategic Sourcing organization. Today, you might be working on a supply agreement. Tomorrow, you'll be creating a commodity strategy for the globe, and aligning with counterparts in other regions, process partners, and senior leaders. You will also be communicating strategies and meeting with senior leaders in the sourcing council on strategy, sourcing awards, and/or supplier exit strategies.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Develop and manage the business relationship between Whirlpool and its Licensees for categories like Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC), Water filtration, Refrigeration, cooking tools and gadgets, Cookware, Bakeware to name a few, within our Global Strategic Sourcing organization (contract negotiations, issue resolution, cost, and compliance)
Develop the Global purchasing strategy for assigned categories and partners(sourcing execution and partner selection)
Evaluate Licensees on cost, quality, compliance, and other information to determine the viability
Support forecast financials on a monthly basis and identify, develop and execute projects for your assigned categories
Lead/support various process partner needs (like Engineering & Technology, Product Development, Marketing, etc.) needs within assigned categories
Drive extraordinary results in meeting critical revenue, quality, compliance, and service objectives
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction are accomplished in all workstreams
Required Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree
5+ Years of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Functions
3+ years of Commercial Negotiation experience
Preferred Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Engineering
Use of supplier management and sourcing principles
Negotiation, conflict resolution, and management skills
Build strong rapport and relationships with internal process partners and external partners
Analytical and computer-related skills
Manage and prioritize multiple key activities
