POSITION SUMMARY

The primary focus of this position is to support, maintain and process data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). The position will support the Sr. HRIS Analyst and act as a technical point-of-contact related to data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. The HRIS Analyst also supports HRIS upgrades, patches, testing, and other technical projects as assigned.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma required
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience required.

 
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 4-6 years of progressive experience in a HRIS capacity in a corporate environment including experience with applicant tracking, time & attendance, performance management, and other HR system modules.
Strong understanding of HRIS database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with database tools
Demonstrated knowledge of HRIS software required, preferably ADP
Demonstrated ability performing group data updates, data manipulation, exports, imports, clean-ups, and researches/reports on data discrepancies
Demonstrated ability to create and run reports and prepare data analytics
Demonstrated competencies in communicating with different work groups and multiple locations
Advanced skills in MS Office Suite, with strong focus in Excel required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
Ability to multi-task & manage priorities in a fast paced environment
Effective organizational and interpersonal skills (including verbal and written communication skills)
Fluent in English, both oral and written required
Ability to adjust work schedule to accommodate unexpected changes

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

Provide support including, but not limited to, researching, and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.

Assist in the review, testing, and implementation of HRIS system upgrades or patches. Collaborate with HR staff, third parties and other stakeholders to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Document process and results. Ensure compliance with SOX.
Write, maintain, and support a variety of reports, charts or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
Reviewing timesheets and payroll related information in HRIS for accuracy
Audit all information system entered into HRIS to assure it is correct and up to date.
Develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation. Train users on new processes/functionality. Train new system users.
Regularly communicate with supervisor work progress, concerns, and questions

It primarily markets UAN products to agricultural customers; and ammonia products to agricultural and industrial customers. CVR Energy, Inc. was founded in 1906 and is based in Sugar Land, Texas.
