Job Description
Key Role:
Provide engineering review, coordination, and oversight for operations, maintenance, repair, and construction work and oversee and coordinate activities with trade shops, including prioritizing work, reviewing ongoing projects, inspecting installed equipment, and overseeing and coordinating work orders, service orders, and projects. Coordinate the energy program and analyze utility costs, manage project design or construction efforts, including schedule, funding, and day-to-day project oversight, manage and evaluate construction contractor performance, integrate and coordinate projects with field personnel, evaluate, validate, and manage project change requests, and provide official weekly project status reports. Apply engineering physics, engineering mathematics and materials science principles to support the design, analysis, manufacture or maintenance of mechanical systems. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with mechanical engineering
Experience with high voltage power, mechanical systems, fire protection, and construction
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
Professional Engineer (PE) registration preferred
