Job Summary:
Responsible for accurate review, interpretation, entry and payment of facultative certificates for the Reinsurance Operations Department and/or the processing of cash transactions for Reinsurance Operations. In addition, provide support for any administrative, process, or accounting functions as needed. This position reports to the Supervisor, Global Ceded Re.
Responsibilities:
Accurate interpretation of facultative intent
Adhere to internal control process for document management
Assist with analysis and administration with the department, as required
Cash clearing in all ceded reinsurance systems
Communicate with Underwriting for clarification and/or corrections as needed
Participate in special projects as required
Recording all outgoing cash ceded cash
Responsible for journal entries related to ceded cash
Timely and accurate data entry of facultative parameters in the reinsurance system
Timely follow ups and payments of all facultative premiums
Track and code all incoming cash in the Rein Ops bank account
Experience:
High School graduate
Associate Degree, preferred
1 year data entry
1-2 years general office experience
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
Microsoft Outlook, Windows 10
Accurate attention to detail
Exceptional data entry skills
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Command of the English language in a legal document
Able to maintain organization of multiple documents and systems
Perform quality work within deadlines, with or without supervision
Ability to work in a hybrid environment (in office and from home according to business needs)
