Job Description
Responsibilities:
Targets new and existing customers in selected market spaces and geographic region.
Works with new and existing customers to determine potential applications and best Celanese material solutions.
Generates opportunities for new business growth.
Manages internal resources (T&I, testing, CAE, processing, regulatory, NPI, etc.) and external developments to drive projects to close.
Works with Celanese product business lines to find high value differentiated applications at customers that impact and grow revenue and margin.
Manages Technical Exchanges at new and existing customers.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Min 5-10 years+ Technical Polymer experience in the Plastics Industry. Established experience and network within the Plastics Industry.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science or Technical Field. MS or Ph.D.
Application development experience
Prospecting and cold calling experience
Project coordination

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interact, influence and facilitate at several levels of the organization
Structured, organized and proactive with a strong focus on results
