Job Summary:

The Processing Manager is part of our Mid-Atlantic Settlement Services operation. The Processing Manager will have the overall and direct responsibility for the day-to-day performance of assigned Settlement Coordinator team. Settlement Coordinators work in teams with Title Service Representatives to provide customer service from the opening of a file to the closing table. They are the primary contact to ensure a smooth settlement transaction. The Processing Manager is an essential, strategic member of the Mid-Atlantic Settlement Services leadership team. This position will report to the President of Mid-Atlantic Settlement Services.

Major Responsibilities:

Managing employees committed to consistent delivery of high-quality service and communication by monitoring day to day tasks, production, and quality of work
The Settlement Coordinator team is responsible for gathering necessary documents for all parties (payoffs, liens, HOA, judgement, etc.) working directly with Real Estate Agents, Buyers, Sellers, Lenders to obtain information and answer questions regarding the settlement, and prepare the final settlement documents to closing
Serving as critical point of contact for escalated issues and available for any questions
Maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers
Ensuring all employees receive and utilize appropriate/identified training
Building department morale, encouraging growth and opportunities for advancement through mentoring, leading by example, and training
Seek to constantly improve processes by always wondering if there is a better way and recommending changes when you think there might be
Instill in your team a constant improvement mindset
Ensuring team meets all turn times and customer service levels for business units

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree is preferred
Five to ten years of escrow processing and/or closing experience is required
Three to five years of supervisory experience is preferred
Strong ability to earn trust and collaborate with all levels of employees across the organization
Ability to use sound judgment and decision-making skills in complex situations and exercise discretion when appropriate
Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and manage to deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly motivated and self-directed
Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite
