Job Description

Basic Function

HollyFrontier is seeking a Treasury Analyst to be located in our corporate headquarters in Dallas, TX.  This role is responsible for performing daily liquidity management responsibilities for the HollyFrontier Companies which includes ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, performing financial analysis, and executing investment and borrowing strategies.

This position is not eligible for international relocation benefits. 

Job Duties

Performs daily cash management responsibilities (daily cash positioning, short-term borrowing and investments, collections and disbursements, wire transfers, tax payments, letters of credit, foreign exchange transactions, fraud monitoring, executive management reporting, etc.)
Analyzes and utilizes multiple data sources to develop, maintain, and improve cash forecasting models to ensure adequate liquidity, efficient investment of funds, and cost-effective short-term borrowings
Measures forecasting accuracy each month and prepare related reports for executive management
Independently develops, builds, maintains and improves short-term cash forecasting models to plan for current and future liquidity and financing needs for the company
Utilizes treasury management system (Kyriba) and commercial bank products and services capable of supporting cash management strategies and operational needs
Maintains appropriate liquidity in bank accounts while maximizing interest income and minimizing interest expense
Ensures Kyriba information is accurate and optimize the utilization of Kyriba
Prepares multi-currency cash and liquidity metrics and report to executive management on a daily basis
Assist supervisor with implementation and maintenance of processes for ensuring and reporting compliance with financial and other covenants in HFC and HEP debt agreements
Conducts financial analysis projects and supports other areas within Finance

Special assignments or tasks assigned by supervisor or management, as determined from time to time at their discretion.

Experience

A minimum of three (3) years of treasury and/or finance related experience is required.

Preferred Experience: 

An in-depth understanding of cash management principles with the ability to apply it in practice.

Education Level

A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field is required.

Preferred Educational Level: 

MBA.

Required Skills

Ability to perform complex financial analysis. Strong understanding of cash management concepts and procedures. Proficient with spreadsheet, database and word processing applications; good written and verbal communication, analytical, problem solving and decision making skills; knowledge of banking and investment industries as needed; detail oriented; ability to work independently; good understanding of financial risk and mitigation. Ability to effectively communicate with others, both written and verbal. Intermediate reading and writing skills; and ability to perform advanced level mathematical calculations.

Work Conditions

Office based with travel by land or air required up to 10% of the time. Subject to all weather and varying road conditions.
