Job Summary
The Sr Fulfillment Analyst is responsible for providing reporting and analytics that properly inform the Fulfillment strategy for the Barnes and Noble eCommerce Business. This role will also serve as the primary resource for creating, developing, and distributing reporting and forecasting for the Fulfillment Operations team and key business partners. This individual will mainly work with Logistics, Marketing, Customer Service, and IT teams to ensure access and visibility to all customer experience metrics and KPI’s to support a forward-thinking approach to serving our customers.
What You Do
• Works with the business team(s) to identify essential reporting and analytical needs
• Develops required reports and analytics, distributing as needed to the business teams
• Works with the eCommerce Fulfillment team to develop and maintain forecasts for weekly eCommerce volume
• Assists with capacity plans and models to assess different strategic approaches to order management
• Collaborates with the appropriate teams to leverage all available data to inform the business properly
• Demonstrates the ability to work with and learn multiple analytics platforms to optimize the accuracy and depth of data
• Ensures excellent data quality for all of the reports and analytics that are produced
• Effectively communicates findings and provides key insights and recommendations to stakeholders
Knowledge & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years analytic experience in supply chain or analytics desired
• Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with querying languages, data manipulation tools, and data visualization tools
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft products
• Strong communication and presentation skills, especially with executive level stakeholders
• Ability to produce quality materials within tight timeframes, work independently, and manage multiple priorities
• Demonstrates expertise working with cross-functional teams
• Proven ability to effectively influence business partners outside of core function
