What You Will Do
Work closely alongside sales staff and BD (Business Development) to cultivate new business through design recommendations and coordinating/conducting events that feature product demonstrations. Support marketing efforts by attending tradeshows, regional demonstrations, and other key events as needed.
Meet with customers to present new products clearly and effectively, telling the HARMAN Professional story that is inseparable from an impressive technical demonstration.
Always be knowledgeable on the latest offerings in the Martin Lighting Portfolio, and always understand how the elements go together to provide exceptional solutions for customers. Work with team to develop technical documentation library – this could include presentations, training guides, video overviews, or standards for how to properly present our offerings.
Be able to work well with others outside of the direct Lighting team that are part of the Harman Pro NA organization, including responsibilities in our Harman HQ Experience Center in Northridge CA.
Excel at presenting to large groups, responding to their questions, and performing hands-on trainings that demonstrate best practices for how to deploy our hardware and software solutions.
Be available, answer technical support emails and calls in a timely fashion, deliver show files or array predictions as requested in a timely and accurate fashion.
Responsible to help the Sales team in the quoting process to make sure we deliver an accurate and knowledgeable quote the first time.
What You Need
Minimum 2+ years’ experience in system design and deployment of professional lighting
Minimum 2 years’ experience utilizing a CRM (ie: Salesforce/MS Dynamics)
3+ years’ experience in managing and maintaining client relations
Minimum 2 years’ experience in Microsoft Office software suite
Ability to successfully manage multiple long-term and short-term tasks concurrently
What is Nice to Have
Advanced understanding of concert lighting deployment with additional experience with consoles, video lighting, lighting, and system management software on a large scale.
Advanced work in intelligent lighting-related, or business-related field
Previous experience supporting large-scale production or integration partners
