About the Role

The Sr. Accountant position will be responsible for applying principles of accounting to perform a variety of functions in accordance with standard procedures in general accounting, general ledger maintenance, cash management, accounts receivable and/or related financial areas.

What You Will Do

Perform financial month-end close process for a specific business unit.  This includes posting monthly entries and completing monthly key balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure that financial statements are accurate, reflect the condition of the business and provide reliable information to support operations.
Generate monthly reports for business units and departments, analyze trends and highlight areas of opportunity. 
Gather audit requests and reviews for accuracy and completeness prior to submission.
Prepares monthly, quarterly and year-end corporate audit pack schedules as well the annual corporate tax package.
Prepare monthly forecast and assist in the budgeting processes

What You Need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related degree
5+ years of related experience
Advance Excel skills
Experience should include preparation of financial statements (including subsidiary consolidations), corporate tax compliance, budget preparation experience, and some cost accounting experience.
Must read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.

What is Nice to Have

CPA or CMA preferred
SAP experience preferred
