The opportunity
You'll be responsible for supporting the design, development, quality, and management of the marketing initiatives for the GPS practice. As a Supervising Associate within the Brand, Marketing and Communication function of EY’s Regional Sector, you will play a key role to strategically position EY’s distinctive brand (www.ey.com.bbww) throughout the sector. Specifically, you will be part of a team that helps raise awareness of the firm’s experience in solving complex issues in the sector.
Your key responsibilities
You’ll support the GPS marketing team, working closely with the practice to meet go-to-market objectives by assisting in the creation, implementation, and evaluation of a wide range of marketing activities per the marketing strategy. You will be responsible for the development and distribution of thought leadership, event planning and management, and the use of digital and social media marketing. You'll identify content opportunities, engage with subject-matter resources, secure appropriate reviews, and approvals, and edit as needed. You'll manage channels for the business function including websites, Daily News/EY Homepage, email marketing, social media channels and more. You’ll be expected to work as part of a team that collaborates with the sector, practice, industry, and other firm leaders to develop market- facing initiatives that help drive EY’s overall strategy around key business issues our clients face. By leveraging marketing knowledge and expertise, you'll ensure consistent brand messaging across disciplines.
Skills and attributes for success
Collaborate with GPS marketing team to activate campaigns and assist in the development of planned content and assets, working closely with designers, writers and other stakeholders as needed.
Ability to effectively manage multiple concurrent marketing initiatives, events, and internal processes
Strength in working independently to resolve challenges while maintaining an active dialogue with leaders and stakeholders
Collaborate with other Brand and Marketing: team with the right internal and external resources (i.e. Communications internal and PR/social; Service Line; Agencies) to develop and deliver campaigns
Ability to track the effectiveness of individual initiatives, providing measurement reports and status updates
Adept at creating thought leadership and marketing collateral, working closely with subject matter experts and manage the distribution of same, externally, and internally, utilizing multiple formats and channels as appropriate
To qualify for the role, you must have
Five-plus years of experience; marketing experience is required
Bachelor's degree with a marketing or communications major or equivalent work experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including presentations)
Ability to work independently, as well as in virtual teams
Strong project management skills and proficiency at effectively managing multiple complex and time sensitive projects
Proven talent at building relationships and collaborating with stakeholders
Ideally, you’ll also have
Demonstrated ability to interface with senior management and team across groups of diverse stakeholders
Efficient time management and prioritization skills are essential
Responsibility to adhere to internal reporting requirements and risk management protocols
Ability to proactively share marketing insights and market knowledge
