Job Description

Responsibilities Include:

Monitoring operation trends, predictive monitoring, preventative maintenance and inspection results, life-cycle input, input for identification of performance issues or needs.
Developing strategies and justifications for equipment life-cycle management and to improve function and efficiency. This includes maintenances plans and system health as core work.
Conduct and support troubleshooting activities, act as a subject matter expert for various plant systems.
Interface with various group that support Generation Operations equipment, such as IT, Electric Lines, etc.
Experience with predictive monitoring programs, evaluating data (operational trending).
Optimizing preventative maintenance on assigned equipment and utilizing monitoring to adjust maintenance trends.
Providing remote monitoring support.
Provide SAP input for notifications and work order generation.
Lead apparent cause and four diamond investigations into failure.

 

Requirements/Qualifications

 

5+ years of related Engineering work experience.
A Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program

In lieu of an ABET accredited Engineering degree, Bachelor’s degree in a scientific/technical field with more than 5 years of experience OR Associate’s degree in a scientific/technical field with 8+ years of experience in the specific field.

Preferred skills:

Knowledge of basic, SCADA systems, vibration monitoring and oil analysis is desired.
Good working understanding of mechanical systems relating to rotating equipment and other balance of plant equipment such as service lifts.
