Job Description
Dillard’s Department Store, Inc., one of the foremost names in department stores, is looking for an exceptional individual interested in joining the Ladies Product Development team based in our corporate office in Little Rock, Arkansas. As an Assistant Technical Designer, you would be responsible for working with the Head Technician executing the technical process from development to production.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Measure garments and enter specification data into the PLM system
Evaluate garments for fit and construction
Create specification packages with construction details and sketch
REQUIRED SKILLS
Bachelor Degree in Fashion and Technical Design or a related field of study
Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office, Windows, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Understand basic garment construction
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail
MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
1 Year
DESIRED SKILLS
Minimum 1 year of experience in similar role for ladies apparel
Knowledge of 3D pattern design software
