About the role:

Performs a variety of complex duties in general accounting such as analyzing accounts, preparing reports, performing the monthly financial close and consolidation, performing capital revenue recognition, participating in the new ASC 606 revenue recognition guidance transition and maintaining & performing software interfaces with SAP.  Measures performance against key performance indicators and metrics, and continually identifies ways to improve and streamline processes.

 Your responsibilities include:

Revenue Recognition in support of new business initiatives (e.g. third party agreements & partnerships)
Leasing Standard ASC 842 technical guidance
Complete other special topic work as requested by manager (i.e. technical accounting research and creation of memos related to special topics impacting ICG)
Compiles and analyzes financial information through preparation of reports, general ledger entries and journal entries.
Establishes and communicates accounting policies by maintaining a thorough understanding of GAAP and new accounting guidance as appropriate.
Takes an active interest in seeking opportunities for continuous improvement, standardizing processes across multiple legal entities.
Works to deliver upon key performance metrics and service levels agreed with business partners.

What we’re looking for in you:

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
3+ years’ relevant experience.
Technical Accounting experience required across new Accounting Standards

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant Accountancy qualification or equivalent (e.g. CPA)
Capital and lease accounting experience
Exceptional organizational & time management skills
Be proactive, a self-starter, results-oriented, and a team player
Detail oriented.
Strong communication skills.
Inquisitive and takes an active interest in opportunities to improve the efficiency of work
