Job Description

SUMMARY

Provides administrative support to the Marketing Manager and the marketing department.  Assists department with all functions of daily operations, including screening calls, coordinating travel arrangements, processing expense reports, maintaining calendars and scheduling meetings.

Responsibilities

SCOPE: Corporate and Operating Units

 

ESSENTIAL/ NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Types reports, memos, letters and other documents using relevant computer applications (MS Office, Visio, etc.).
Receives, screens and directs incoming calls for marketing manager.
Greets visitors and determines whether they should be given access to specific individuals.
Arranges business travel, coordinates meeting arrangements, tracks expenses and processes expense reports.
Reads and analyzes incoming memos, submissions and reports to determine their significance and plan their distribution.
Performs general office duties such as ordering supplies and maintaining records.
Organizes all marketing material and all new items that are delivered to the department.
Works collaboratively and coordinates with other Executive and Administrative Assistants for planning and implementing events and meetings during the year.
Attends meetings and takes actions to ensure deliverables are met.
Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Required Education and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent and 1 – 3 years of experience.

 

Preferred Education and Experience:

Associate’s Degree and 3+ years of experience.
