Primary Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:
Specifies design for single phase and three phase overhead and underground facilities according to specifications and defined compatible units.
Prepares corrective maintenance, failed equipment and pole replacement work orders for overhead and underground facilities.
Works with other utility companies, municipalities, corporations and authorities regarding joint use of distribution facilities.
Prepares work orders, sketches, right-of-way requests, permit requests and estimates. Generates work orders in appropriate company systems and computer tools.
Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to meet with customers to satisfy project needs and service complaints.
Determines customer obligations from Standard Practice Instructions for contracts, costs, billing and accounting purposes.
Performs such other related duties as assigned or as necessary.
Candidate Qualifications
Candidates must meet the basic qualifications and pass all required tests or assessments to receive consideration.
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility form upon hire.
Basic Qualifications
Graduate of a two-year Engineering or Engineering Technology degree program from a school/program which has been accredited by a nationally recognized accreditation agency.
Successful completion of the company's Training and Development Program for Distribuiton Service Technicians.
Licensed to operate a motor vehicle.
