AS A WEAPONS SYSTEM ENGINEER, YOU WILL:

- Support the Weapons System Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead in performing frontend Logistics analysis in order to influence system design for commonality across multiple weapons systems platforms and ensure product support strategies meet program goals for operational effectiveness and readiness

- Assist with logistics planning to include scheduling and determining resources for specific tasks and plan product support management for the IPT

- Ensure supportability requirements are addressed consistently with cost, schedule, and performance

- Coordinate logistics requirements and plans between Operations, Subcontractors and the Government to ensure comprehensive plans are in place to meet program demonstrations and testing requirements

Typically has 7 - 14 years of professional experience.

Basic Qualifications:

• Knowledgeable in logistics front end analysis

• Knowledgeable about Product Support and Sustainment, Configuration Management

• Strong project management skills; ability to handle multiple project simultaneously

• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Technical/Product Data Management

• Experience with Integrated Product Support (IPS) Planning

• Logistics experience working with missile systems

• Previous experience in Logistics within an Army / Air Force / DoD Logistics environment or commercial equivalent.

• Experienced in using relational database for Logistics Product Data

• Knowledgeable in Logistics Product Data Task Analysis

• Knowledgeable in Logistics Design Influence

• Knowledgeable in Supportability Analysis

• Knowledgeable in Reliability and Maintainability Analysis

• The aptitude to multi-task and employ solid problem-solving abilities
