Exelon is looking to hire a Design Draftsman at our Clinton Power Station in Clinton, IL

 Pay rate is $30.92 per hour

 Primary Purpose Of Position:

Support the station with creating drawing updates as required, under general supervision, in support of nuclear plant operations.

Primary Duties and accountabilities:

Perform drawing updates as requested

Position Scope:

Create/modify drawings/documents as requested

Update CAD files per procedure based on Engineering changes and other posted changes
Create mark ups for engineers as requested

Department specific roles/responsibilities:

Design Engineering
Defend the plant design and licensing basis. Preparation and approval of design outputs and plant changes in accordance with approved processes and design requirements. Support installation and testing of plant systems and components and facility changes. Ensure the plant’s physical and functional characteristics are accurately reflected in the plant documents. Perform engineering analysis to support plant changes.

Qualifications

Position Minimum Requirements:

1)Minimum of an Associates Degree two years of education in Drafting with successful algebra and geometry or trigonometry classes, OR high school diploma + and minimum of 2 years of drafting experience with AD 2000 or higher drafting software With AutoCAD 2000 or higher software knowledge
2)Experience with GTX / I/RAS B Drafting software is preferred
3)Good understanding of Micro station J for use with Hybrid drawing is preferred
4)Knowledge of ANSI, ASME drawing symbols
