Position Responsibilities:
This position is a Senior Accounts Payable Analyst role with increasingly more complexity and independence required. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Provide accounts payable support to 30+ divisions & corporate
Prepare & analyze monthly management reports
Prepare & analyze monthly aging reports and line item flux analyses
Prepare & analyze weekly/monthly aging reports for GRIR, stamps, and Subledger
Prepare daily open invoice assignments to processors
OpenText vendor portal resolving issues through ticket system
Onboard vendor portal adoption
Generate journal entries for portal fees  
Review and post journal entries
Proactively consider needs for additional management KPIs
Identified resource for process improvement and technology improvements with respect to Accounts Payable
Audit request from internal and external D&T
Keep manager informed of any major concerns or issues
Special projects to streamline, drive efficiency, and root cause analyses
Follow up on open items and bring to closure keeping manager informed
Other assignments as required
Skills and Experience:
Minimum 5 years of Accounts Payable experience or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of General Ledger Accounting experience
Accounting degree or certificate recommended
Experience in high volume invoice environment
Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work independently with limited supervision
Ability to follow through with tasks to completion
Ability to prioritize key tasks
Proficient in SAP or other ERP systems
Advanced skills in Excel (macros, pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
Intermediate skills in Power Point and Word
