We are currently looking for a motivated Business Analyst to join our team. In this exciting role, you will analyze data and business requirements, create reports and other documentation, and work with team members to solution issues.

Responsibilities:

Prepare draft status reports
Utilize Azure Dev Ops (ADO) or other tools to document work items, collect analytical data and translate onto status reports, monitor and update work items for completeness and association with other work, update organizational planning boards and sites
Monitor project dashboards, identify issues and variances, and work with project team members to make corrections in a timely manner
Develop or modify queries that capture metrics and project performance statistics
Prepare on-site materials and facilities for team and organizational planning sessions
Perform Sharepoint site administration for individual teams
Provide data analysis to support, compile and report key information
Work with internal groups and outside vendors to ensure a successful and quality project completion
Reconcile problems including multiple priorities and research conflicting and/or inaccurate data.
Provide advanced analysis and strong written and verbal communications with management, staff and contractors
Work independently and in a team environment to complete needed jobs
May lead a small project team or initiative
Communicate status, risks, issues, and upcoming objectives and ensure timely updates are made
Facilitate the completion, approval, and storage of project artifacts (including requirements, designs, process and system flow diagrams, use cases, and other documents)
Learn and/or apply agile methodology (SAFe) and participate in Agile Sprint and Program Increment planning sessions and work with scrum team members to assist tracking deliverables and achievement of objectives

Requirements:

Strong academic performance or equivalent professional experience in data analysis and reporting
Ability to learn new programs quickly and pull/create/synthesize data out of these programs
Bachelors’ degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or related discipline or experience equivalent
Strong leadership, interpersonal and teamwork skills
Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written)
Working of Microsoft Office Suite (strong Excel skills) and Sharepoint
Ability to identify, analyze, and create consumable reporting
Strong customer service orientation
Working knowledge of Agile metrics, methodologies and practices

Preferred:

Financial services or banking industry experience
Advanced degree in related field
Working knowledge of Azure Devops, PowerBI or equivalent (i.e. Jira, Quality Center, etc.)
Database experience and knowledge of Cloud services
Working knowledge of SQL
