The CSS – KYC/AML role serves as the Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Compliance Risk partner for Relationship Managers in the management of their portfolio. The primary responsibility of the role is to manage the Customer Due Diligence processes by ensuring timely and accurate compliance to policy and regulatory requirements related to Anti-Money Laundering and Know-Your-Customer activities. The CSS – KYC/AML role will execute, KYC/AML onboarding (US only), record refresh (US and Global), remediation projects and self-identified audit issues, and national and regional initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

Leads Customer Due Diligence processes by ensuring timely and accurate compliance to policy and regulatory requirements related to Anti-Money Laundering and Know-Your-Customer activities.
Own and manage the KYC/AML process and its effect on the client experience
Proactively engage in client conversation to educate contacts, prepare for deliverables and complete process.
Ensure  KYC/AML deliverables are met and hold internal partners accountable

Qualifications:

Undergraduate Degree preferred
Experience with KYC/AML due diligence process including appropriate identification and escalation of risks
Strong aptitude for strategic and critical thinking with the ability to connect analytical work to the client needs and strategic objectives; client focused
Strong business and financial acumen; familiarity with Global Commercial Banking a plus
Proven organizational skills and ability to execute tasks and projects independently 
Efficiently able to meet deadlines while balancing competing demands of multiple internal partners
Must demonstrate strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint , and Outlook; advanced Excel skills a plus and Tableau reporting knowledge preferred
Client-facing experience and proven problem solving skills
