Job Description
The ideal candidate must possess good communication skills (verbal and written) as well as effective organizational skills. Additionally, they must be comfortable working independently and interacting with different members of the project team as well as external vendor contacts. Finally, they must be comfortable working in Excel to populate, organize, and summarize data.
Lead or participate in Calls/Meetings with Vendors to align on expectations and progress for upcoming launches.
Monitor and analyze the flow of POs from creation through to store receipt
Overseas departure (when applicable)
Receipt at BBB warehouse/ cross-dock
Outbound shipment to stores
Store receipt
Collect and manage available reporting and data necessary to support process
Produce/distribute weekly update which highlights overall status, any significant milestones missed, and corrective approaches being taken
Follow up with vendors to address delays and expediting actions to minimize impact to launch plans.
Participate in meetings with vendors to address performance issues and achieve supply chain targets.
