Responsibilities:
In this role, you will:
Work closely with our upstream Operations & Programming partners to ensure the reliable and accurate delivery of assets from the central Media Asset Management (MAM) system alongside metadata and availability/rights information from our scheduling systems to the CMS
Partner with our downstream Production, Operations & Product teams to ensure content is ready for release
Must have a solid grasp of upstream and downstream system integrations and the content data model to assist with troubleshooting and data cleanup efforts
Own the content delivery roadmap, managing and balancing priorities against resource availability
Anticipate conflicting needs and dependencies, including inter-dependencies with other initiatives and teams, and work proactively to resolve them
Identify content workflow pain points and partner with relevant teams across the organization to optimize these workflows
Create training documentation and presentations to break down complex processes into easily consumable material tailored to specific audiences
Clear and concise communication, especially with stakeholder management
Proven track-record of multi-tasking and overseeing numerous projects of various sizes, while managing client expectations
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in operations and media asset management, managing large-scale projects with a demonstrated track record of successful execution
Experience working in media asset management at media company, preferably managing content in multiple languages
Ability to adjust working hours to accommodate meetings in other time zones – particularly Europe.
Ability to lead and motivate people and encourage teamwork
Thrives in a fast-paced environment
Prior people management as this role may soon have direct reports
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as excellent relationship-management with customers, peers, and executives
Strong quantitative and qualitative skills
Outstanding and careful attention to detail
Agile, Scrum and other methodologies, including traditional waterfall approaches a plus
Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence a plus
