Job Description

ENGIE is looking for an Operation & Maintenance Technician to join our team. The O&M Technician II is responsible for the safe and reliable start-up, operation and continuous monitoring of boilers, gas turbines, reciprocating engines, electric generators, and associated auxiliary and balance of plant equipment as directed by management. In this role, you will also be responsible for performing selective maintenance on various in-plant and/or satellite equipment. The O&M Technician II reports to the Operations Manager & Shift Lead Supervisor, Colorado Energy Nations Company, LLC / Golden CO.

Colorado:

The position offers an annual salary range of $58,000 to $91,000 with competitive benefits and is bonus eligible.  Any extended offer will be based on the applicant’s experience.

What you’ll do:

Perform preventive, predictive and repair maintenance work tasks on plant equipment
Responsible for the safe, proper and efficient operation of all machinery and related equipment
Diagnose equipment problems, report abnormal conditions to management
Prepare detailed work requests for plant defects
Inspect plant and equipment, including carrying out scheduled plant checks
Prepare necessary reports and log entries
Ensure maintenance requests are completed to a satisfactory standard
Assist in planning, organizing, and executing unit outages for inspections, overhauls, repairs and cleaning
Responsible for interfacing with the Shift Lead Supervisor(s) to insure proper operation and maintenance of plant equipment.
Assist with preparation and administration of Operations, Maintenance and HS&E procedures and reports
Maintain accurate records while monitoring and maintaining Plant equipment and systems 
Master shift turnover process to ensure a seamless transfer of information to the oncoming shift
Participate in ongoing training to maintain and enhance skills required to perform duties
Assist in the training of others
Train and qualify as an Operator Technician at the ENGIE facilities in the Denver/Golden Colorado area

What you bring:

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Five (5) plus years of relevant experience and/or training; licenses, endorsements; or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
Qualified craft journeyman a plus
Must be able to qualify, through in-house and on the job training, as an Operator Technician at the ENGIE facilities in the Denver/Golden Colorado area
Thorough knowledge of all plant systems and understanding of process diagrams, simple electrical diagrams and operating instructions
Must be willing to work rotating shift as needed
Must be able to achieve competent technical abilities in one of the following crafts: Maintenance Mechanic, Maintenance Electrician, or Instrument & Control Technician
Must be able to complete the applicable General Physics - Power Fundamental Online self-study training courses
