Primary purpose of the position:

Manages the plant quality assurance function in a complex and challenging multi-billion unit manufacturing environment.

What will you be responsible for?

Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure work environment. 
The plant quality assurance manager or designee is to be trained and certified in the food safety system and oversees its development, implementation, review and maintenance. 
Directs and coordinates the activities of the quality assurance function in the plant and its interface with the Corporate Quality group.
Establishes and maintains quality assurance standard procedures, methods, facility and equipment to meet customer requirements.
Establishes and maintains a customer relations program in plant matters relating to quality.
Directs and implements quality training and development programs.
Lead, develop and influence a diverse team, both direct and indirect.
Establishes and analyzes quality areas, including quality goals, quality problems, defective materials, claims and customer quality problems. 
Oversees the application and administration of the SPC system within the plant.
Works with material suppliers on quality issues.
Administers customer claim reimbursement systems.
Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the division, the group, and the company. 

What are we looking for?

Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college or work-related experience.
Job related experience for 4 year(s) minimum.
Must be able to handle sensitive related and proprietary information in a confidential manner.
Creative problem solver who can utilize a variety of quality assurance techniques and root cause analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to develop relationships and negotiate with customers.
Must maintain professional competence, ethical integrity, knowledge, and skills..
Working knowledge of the following areas: quality assurance principles, practices, nomenclature, and procedures; generally accepted managerial practices and procedures; business principles, legal practices, customer needs and expectations.
Works in both office and manufacturing environments.
Prior ISO experience with 9001, 14001, 22001 and 45001.
Integrated management system.

Compensation & Benefits

Hiring Salary Range: $ 86,500 -132,000 (Salary to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
Job Grade:  Global Grade 12  
Other Compensation:   This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
