Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Talent Management Program Manager. This will be a primarily remote/virtual position that can be based from a variety of locations but not limited to those listed.

The Talent Management Program Manager will implement, manage, and oversee the successful execution of AMER leadership programs, including the design and management of participant experience, stakeholder management, and vendor management. This role provides program management governance, mitigates program related risk, and will analyze/resolve underachieving outcomes or program challenges. The successful individual must be comfortable working with ambiguity as the programs are defined and designed and must demonstrate a high level of accountability and autonomy to successfully deliver on program outcomes as part of a small, agile team in a fast paced environment. They must also demonstrate the ability to be proactive, to anticipate and adapt to the organization’s evolving needs.

Core development programs managed by the Talent Management team in AMER for FY21 include:

Graduate Development Program (GDP), a development program for graduate hires;

Elevate, leadership development programming for mid-level high potentials;

LIFT, leadership development programming for senior-level high potentials.

Program management responsibilities include:

Create, manage, and execute comprehensive program delivery of learning & leadership programs

Develop, manage, and maintain a plan for each program that include communications, user engagement and experience, stakeholder management, change management as needed, program metrics and evaluations

Design, develop, and deploy stakeholder engagement collateral to ensure strong sponsorship and support from the business, program participants, program partners, and HR

Identify innovative and engaging approaches to maximize engagement and learning for participants before, during and after the program

Manage and maintain program budget

Lead the logistics preparation to ensure a positive experience for facilitators, speakers, and participants

Design and develop post program alumni touchpoints, engagement and activities, and measure success (partner with TM Partners, region HR teams and the business to communicate and execute)

Design and develop innovative, engaging participant collateral, to support learning materials, communications, evaluations, and stakeholder management at all levels

Leverage and advance the use of technology enablement to advance learning as an organization

Manage the evaluation metrics & tracking for programs, including the initial analysis and preparation of reports and materials to provide stakeholders

Support the delivery and efficient execution of program content and sustainment activities

Identify continuous improvement opportunities based on evaluations and After-Action Reviews, modifying learning approach as appropriate

Collaborate across AMER and globally to drive consistent programs and experience

Work with HR teams, Business leaders, and Talent Partners to deliver programs and identify changing business needs

Partner with AMER TM teams (& in FY22 global TM as well) to develop and continuously improve new and existing programming (e.g. for FY21: GDP, LIFT, Elevate), to meet the changing needs of the organization

Maintain alignment with global talent management strategy to ensure a progressive employee career development journey

Creatively and proactively consider the continuous improvement for design and content management (updates to refresh existing content, ideas to develop new content)

Collect, analyze, and report metrics & tracking for key learning investments

Manage and maintain vendor relationships to ensure successful user experience and learning outcomes

Must work under minimal supervision in several aspects of the work

Must successfully work in a matrixed organization
