Position Purpose:
We are looking for a highly analytical and experienced digital marketing professional to develop and manage our regional marketing efforts to drive new accounts and revenue growth for GAIN Capital’s US region. As marketing manger, this person will report to Vice President Marketing, Americas and work within the regional Americas marketing team to deliver acquisition, conversion, activation, reactivation and client engagement strategies, plans and work with central support teams to implement optimized campaigns that meet client KPIs and deliver ROI on marketing spend.
Primary Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
Develop the marketing strategy for region across all activities and channels to meet business targets and objectives, including acquisition, onboarding, conversion, experience and CVM.
Help manage annual budget, including the management of monthly spend, setting annual KPI and targets, quarterly forecasting against acquisition and revenue goals, and weekly/monthly reporting
Implement the marketing plan to drive the acquisition, conversion, activation and retention of Clients who deliver marketing spend ROI, focusing on these key areas:
Constantly optimize performance against agreed KPIs
Number of applications and Cost per Application
Number of New Funded and Traded accounts and Cost per Funded/Traded Account (CPF/CPT)
Trading activity for revenue targets
Cross sell opportunities for range of markets
Develop campaigns to acquire clients across brands and key target audience segments to drive ROI.
Work within regional marketing team to plan marketing activities and promotions to support acquisition KPIs including:
Updating marketing calendar with key activities and promotions
Briefing content team for marketing assets and collateral aligned to plan
Ensure activities are aligned to objectives
Ensure activities are leveraged across brands/regions/channels where possible/relevant
Brief internal teams with budgets, targets and acquisition strategy working with teams/agencies to deliver detailed targets, tactical campaign plans and activities, including:
Regular planning and status meetings with:
Sales
Digital Media Team
Affiliates
SEO
Customer Experience and AMERICAS marketing manager for optimization and A/B testing roadmap
Take responsibility for end to end metrics and funnel optimization including:
Media spend and budget optimization
Web analytics, site conversion and web user journey optimization and testing
Onboarding optimization

KYC
Lead prioritization
Funding user journeys
Develop and implement content campaigns, creative assets and promotional activities that increase client acquisition and activity via all asset classes and channels.
Take responsibility for ensuring a deep understanding of regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular competitor analysis and benchmarking reporting across proposition including acquisition, products, pricing, experience to inform planning.
Management of Regional Marketing Calendar of activities aligned to Product, Platform, Market events and Central Support teams’ roadmaps and ensuring key activities for the region are shared into the central marketing team calendar.
Work with regional marketing and wider business units across all new client touch-points including:

Client Management
Work with the Insights team to develop a framework for tracking and measurement including:
Tracking and attribution
Regular reporting and monitoring of the acquisition KPIs

Continually manage the best practices of Client Acquisition. Including:
All copy, content, banners, landing pages and sites pages directly or indirectly associated with increasing client acquisition
Sales funnel optimization
Reporting and monitoring against agreed targets with in-depth weekly and monthly reports and status meetings across all required stakeholders with regular steps taken to deliver optimization of in-flight activities and campaigns in order to deliver improved performance.
Establish best practice and ensure that this is shared with global counterparts
Maintain an appropriate level of competence through ongoing training and staying abreast of innovation and best practice.

Job Requirements:
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Ecommerce related customer acquisition management experience at a similar level within digitally led marketing organizations preferably in the financial services
An understanding of the motivators of the target market
