Job Description
As a Statistical (R&D) Analyst with the Special Lines R&D team, you will work both independently and alongside various business and IT partners to carry out enhancement ideation, data manipulation, benefit projection, data modeling/model solution, model implementation, and ad-hoc analysis. You'll apply statistical methods and models to provide new insights, solve problems and drive business decisions.
Must-have qualifications
Master's degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Engineering or Operations Research.
In lieu of Master's degree, Bachelor's degree or higher in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Economics, Engineering or Operations Research and a minimum of two years of analysis experience.
Preferred skills
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Understanding of basic data analysis methodologies such as multivariate regression
Ability to communicate results of analyses in a simple and clear manner
Knowledge SAS, R and/or Python
Strong business acumen
Compensation
Mid level: $65,000 - $86,700/year
Senior level: $78,700 - $104,900/year
Lead level: $90,200 - $128,900/year
Gainshare bonus up to 30% - 40% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
