The Servicing Insurance Analyst II is responsible to accurately and timely perform functions within the Insurance department including but not limited to the following: Review, research items related to flood insurance coverage such as flood certification transfers, ensure flood coverage is in compliance, and flood zone changes are updated; review hazard insurance policies to ensure insurance vendor has correct property types, updated addresses, and coverage amounts; manual payment of lender placed coverage and reimbursements to vendor of daily insurance disbursements; respond to insurance vendor inquiries as needed; monitor Loss Draft claims to ensure the property repairs are completed as required.

Additional responsibilities include research and resolution of complex insurance issues and escalated borrower complaints, and communicating the results with senior management. Be able to work independently and assist/train junior associates as needed. The candidate must understand and follow various investor and regulatory requirements. The Servicing Insurance Analyst II will follow and recommend updates to policies and procedures as well as work for continual improvement to existing processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Subject matter expert on all matters related to hazard and flood insurance as well as Mortgage Insurance.
Research and resolution of complex inquiries, requiring detailed analysis and communication of findings.
Escalate to senior management as needed when exceptions arise.
Respond to escalated customer inquiries and communicate with senior management.
Complete various reporting functions to ensure compliance with applicable procedures and regulations.
Provide superior customer service skills.
Assist and train team members on daily workflow.
Communicate clearly with management to advise of any workflow or process issues, identify and recommend improvements.
Proficient in documenting processes and writing procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma required
3+ years of mortgage insurance and/or escrow processing or related experience
2+ years Mortgage industry and/or Financial Services experience preferred  
2+ years of MSP/Black Knight experience
Microsoft experience required
