The Recruiter will work as a member of the Talent Acquisition team and be responsible for attracting talent through strategic planning, collaboration, negotiation, and influential communication. In partnership with hiring managers, the Recruiter, will collaborate and interact with the assigned Human Resources Business Partner, to lead recruitment activities for Homepoint. The successful Recruiter will work with the team to effectively translate metrics and objectives into actions that align with the overall business strategy. Excellent communication skills are a must, as you will closely collaborate with the Talent Acquisition and HR Business Partner team to ensure recruitment demands are met across multiple functions, businesses, and locations.
Serve as an internal consultant and advisor for hiring managers from the opening of a position requisition to candidate on-boarding; ensure productivity increases with each step
Understand the needs/skills of the position to be filled and partner with the hiring managers on a variety of openings. This will require examining current job descriptions for accuracy and relevance to current position needs and developing an effective recruitment strategy
Work with business leaders, hiring managers, and HR Business Partners to develop robust workforce and talent acquisition plans for each fiscal year and adjust the plans as needed
Be a subject-matter expert on recruiting markets, competitive trends, compensation, and other relevant areas and share your knowledge
Successfully reach a candidate offer acceptance using a combination of negotiation skills, value-selling strategies, and anticipation of objections
Participate in project work, process improvement initiatives and other duties as needed
Handle necessary administrative/ processing tasks for new hires, conduct reference checking and ensure background checks are completed
Skills & Qualifications:
2 + years of Recruiting experience
Bachelor's degree preferred
2+ years of progressive business and/or internal business consulting experience
Ability to successfully influence front line management and senior stakeholders
Excellent time management skills to handle competing priorities that require communication and an attention to detail
Knowledge of recruitment talent metrics, and KPI’s
Willingness to work in a fast-paced and flexible environment
Ability to use various ATS and reporting software packages
