This role is the Product/Process Owner for the Global Time Management activities throughout Chevron.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Provides oversight, sign off and governance on all time and?leave activities (Time for Pay i.e.overtime, compensation time, pay premiums, FLSA standards; Time Off and Leaves of Absence).
Provides expert knowledge on all Time matters and establishes overall Chevron time strategy to address business concerns. ?
Facilitates coordination across multiple functions (internal and external to HR) and countries.
?Engages, ensures adherence, and delivers the Global Time standardized model and processes.
Coordinates delivery of new time and leave policies, processes and systems.
Oversees documentation, training and change management of new/revised initiatives.
Secures and manages people and budgetary resources to support initiatives.
?Engages in key meetings at multiple employee levels. ?Helps to remove roadblocks.
Supervises and sets strategic direction for a team of two to three employees. Delivers performance evaluations, salary determination, career coaching, work execution and direction. Manages multiple contingent workers.
Current and upcoming projects and roles:?
Deploy Workday time in France, UK, US, Angola and Nigeria.
Oversee deployment of CTM (Chevron Time Management) timeclock system to US non-exempt populations?
Prioritize and deliver time enhancements?
Prioritize and deploy Workday time to additional countries?
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor´s degree in applicable field
5+ years of experience in global time management
Fluent in HR processes, policies, and priorities
Experience with HR Systems (Workday or similar)
Demonstrated strategic thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills
Strong understanding of analytical tools
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience working with multiple employee levels
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in applicable field
Experience/knowledge in Total Rewards (TR), Labor Relations (LR) and Human Resources Information System (HRIS)
Knowledge of workforce demographics, especially complex populations i.e. non-exempt, hourly, union represented and expatriate employees
Experience leading/deploying global efforts
Supervisory experience
Experience with Global (non-US) employee populations
