About the Role – You are the tip of the spear, fluent in all aspects of hyper converged infrastructure and deep in multiple areas of technology delivery. Technology architecture is your passion, and you are comfortable leading or working within a team of architects or senior technology leaders. You're in your element working with clients to solve complex business problems and helping customers develop and deploy Intelligent Edge and Intelligent Cloud solutions
You are a senior level information technology professional possessing experience administering and managing HCI environments (VMware, Nutanix, HPE, Lenovo, Dell, etc…), Microsoft Azure (and/or other comparable) public cloud services with an understanding of complex IT solutions and integrating diverse computing architectures. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Information Systems / Computer Science / Software Development / etc. from an accredited college or university with a preferred 1-3 years of related industry and job experience. Public Speaking required. Microsoft Accreditations/Certifications highly desirable.

This role is focused on driving the Microsoft Azure Stack product line (currently Azure Stack Hub, Azure Stack HCI, and Azure Stack Edge) including knowledge OEM Hardware, Windows Server licenses, Azure Consumed Revenue, and value-add services.
Cross-group collaboration across OEM hardware business units, Microsoft business unit, and DPSS teams.
Develops strategic business plans and drives tactical execution.
Responsible for awareness, readiness, pre-sales support including discovery calls with partners, proof of concept development, and pre-sales partner support.
Conducts market research, profiles customers/vendors, makes presentations and participates in sales calls and marketing events to establish customers and determine market segment revenue potential.
Drives sales of key product categories to reach rebate tiers and works with analysts to maximize earning through updated rebate reporting.
Forecast’s sales and develops annual, quarterly, and monthly plans to reach targets.
Calls on potential customers and vendors, develops and coordinates sales presentations and secures prospect commitments
Assumes an advising role and leverages advanced technological expertise to achieve specific sales goals in the assigned market.
Negotiates, reviews, and analyzes all new vendor contracts from inception to final completion, maximizing profitability and ensuring contract compliance as required.
Evaluates competitive information, offerings, and customer perspectives.
Develops and implements marketing and sales strategy for securing and/or increasing market share, sales and profit.
Keeps Management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans and monthly/quarterly financial analyses.
Maintains current company, customer, technical and professional knowledge including key certifications.
