Job Description

As a Software Developer Intermediate or Senior on the Enterprise Monitoring Team, you’ll help us transform the way we monitor our applications and infrastructure performance at Progressive. Our team vision is to provide best in class monitoring capabilities and services to improve the maturity of our performance, availability and capacity planning processes for both the application and infrastructure areas. In this role, you’ll work on an Agile delivery team to provide our customers with the near real time observability needed to rapidly respond to events, while advancing our monitoring capabilities. You’ll also assist in evaluating, designing and implementing software products to support our customer requirements, and you’ll perform research and development efforts pertaining to new features and capabilities.

Must-have qualifications 

Bachelor's degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and two years of related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications
Instead of the above, a high school diploma or GED or higher and:

The completion of a technical training program, and two years related work experience, or
Four years related work experience designing, programming, and supporting software programs and applications

Preferred skills 

Full stack development experience with C#, .NET, Javascript, Python, APIs, and Agile (experience with Cloud technologies, AWS, Splunk/App Dynamics is a plus)
Working knowledge of Splunk Products (ITSI, Splunk Cloud)
Working knowledge of Cloud Solutions and experience with Docker and Kubernetes 
Basic knowledge of vendor software integration and interaction patterns
Ability to analyze data from various sources and determine next actions

Compensation

Intermediate Level:

$59,000-$78,700/year
Gainshare bonus up to 24% of your eligible earnings based on company performance

Senior Level: 

$71,400-$95,200/year
Gainshare bonus up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
