The primary responsibilities of this role, Pipeline Planner, are to:
The ideal candidate would work out of our Chesterfield Mo, Creve Coeur Mo, Ankeny IA, Huxley lA, Stonington, IL, Scott, MS, Williamsburg IA, or Galena MD locations, however we will consider applicants that can work out of any Bayer Crop Science Research and Development site or Bayer Crop Science Seed Production site in the mainland United States and Puerto Rico.
Have primary accountability to develop detailed plans and schedules which should enable trait and pipeline delivery teams as well as regional seed production and testing teams to successfully meet pipeline targets and cycle times for each crop, according to the phases of the pipeline they are accountable to manage;
Be responsible to identify opportunities to improve pipeline health and operational efficiencies;
Develop alternative solutions for the analysis of supply shortfalls impacting internal and/or external customer requirements and ensure root cause identification, corrective action determination and implementation;
Handle complex planning problems independently, utilizing financial, operational and business judgment and the ability to adapt to ambiguous conditions;
Be responsible for and maintains planning parameters and master data internal to crop science analytical tools and software systems;
Utilize delegation to expand scope of influence.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with at least five years of total experience from various backgrounds related to the crop science field or a supply chain background in another field;
Excellent presentation, training, and interpersonal skills;
Ability to influence other members of the organization to help achieve goals and increase performance;
Ability to build relationships and partnerships within the organization;
Ability to manage projects of high complexity with no or limited direction;
Demonstrated problem solving abilities;
Strong attention to detail;
Proficient with Microsoft office tools;
Proficient in enterprise and crop science software and analytical tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred fields of study in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Mathematics, Business, Information Technology, or related fields.
