Job Overview

Insticator partners with a global portfolio of publishers to help deepen their relationship with their audience through engagement and rich interaction, facilitating loyalty, increasing revenue, and ultimately, aiding growth.. Our team is looking for a Senior Manager of Business Development to join its growing Publisher Sales Team. This position offers a unique opportunity for an experienced publisher sales or business development professional to join a growing team to expand the business with new partnerships.

Responsibilities and Duties.

Be part of our growing sales team, while operating fully independently in managing your own business pipeline

Prospect and close new publisher partnership deals
Host online, phone and in-person pitches and presentations
Maintain in-depth knowledge of competitive landscape and market trends whilst providing product feedback
Directly cultivate relationships with large digital media publishers. Role requires  some travel.


Qualifications.

Professional competencies

4-6 years of experience in the sale of martech, CMS, adtech or other publisher-oriented SaaS product 

Have previous experience selling solutions to product teams or content teams at publishers and a rolodex of contacts in those roles
Proven track record signing deals with premium digital publishers directly
Network of relationships at digital publishers, preferably with Product, C-Suite, or Business Development 
Understanding of common ad-server implementations and programmatic advertising products a plus
Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, goal and target oriented executor
Strong oral and written communication skills
Previous experience successfully driving revenue through prospecting, pitching, negotiating, closing and renewing business
Have previous experience selling solutions to product teams at publishers
A strong desire to learn and adapt in an ever-changing industry
Self-starter that desires to be a key contributor and strong team player
