Essential Job Functions:
1. Close Reporting
Review and analyze month-end and quarterly reports
Manage the preparation of quarterly disclosures included in SEC Forms 10K/Q ensuring disclosures are submitted timely and accurately.
Manage cost of funds preparation and review of monthly yield analysis
NIM Segment preparation
Coordinate and review ad hoc requests as needed
2. Analysis of Corporate Debt and Swap Portfolio
Verify, track, and analyze activity monthly
Coordinate verification of proper accrual accounting related to portfolio
Ensure accuracy of portfolio report at deal-level
3. Accounting Operations for Stock Repurchase Program
Manage the timely and accurate processing of monthly journal entries
Reconcile daily cash activity and review monthly cash reconciliations
4. Reconciliations
Review Subledger reconciliation to General Ledger
Review and approve monthly account reconciliations in Oracle Tracker
5. Internal Controls
Maintain internal controls processes
Identify and remediate control gaps
Maintain documentation
6. Management of Staff
Ensure staff are properly trained in all job functions
Plan and coordinate the workflow of the group by effectively assigning tasks and responsibilities to staff members to ensure that all group and company-wide deadlines are met.
Effectively evaluate staff performance
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree - Accounting, Finance, or another related field
7+ year’s experience in accounting or finance
Proficient in Excel
General Ledger software (e.g.-SAP, Oracle, etc.) experience
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
4-5 years supervisory experience
